Canadian-Related Swimmers' Plaques

There are a number of Plaques that provide tributes to various Canadian-related swimmers and their achievements.

This document identifies a number of them, with links to their locations and to more details on what they cover.

Captain Matthew Webb is included in this listing, since his fatal attempt to cross the Niagara River started in Canada and, while his commemorative statue stands on the banks of Dover Harbour, his grave-site is in Buffalo (NY), adjacent to where he died in the Niagara River.
